Spooner’s Cleaning Services-Health & Safety
Health and safety are of paramount importance in business nowadays, with increasing premiums and claims. We are very aware of this and have all of the Health and Safety and insurance requirements. Spooner’s have an up-to-date Safety and Method statement,s and all our operatives have safe passes. Liam Spooner is our Health and Safety officer and enforces safe practices on the job. Our operatives have access to all the necessary PPE equipment, such as hi-vis vests, steel-toe boots, anti-fog goggles, gloves, and a range of filter masks.
Use of floor signs or cones is mandatory when we are on jobs where they are required, in particular where there are wet floors and work from heights. At Spooner’s, we minimise working off the ground as we use telescopic lances for power washing, high reach and wash poles for window cleaning, both inside and outside. When we do need to use a ladder, they have stabilisers attached to them. Our operatives have a cherry picker ticket and are harnessed to the cage to ensure our safety.
